WCT Milestones

2008-2009 Season

• June 21, 2008 1st International WCT Qualifier Beaufort Polo Club, England

2007-2008 Season

• Since its inception, over 100 women have participated in the WCT

• April 5, 2008 Catena USA wins it's second WCT Finals

• March, 2008 -18 women's polo teams have competed over eight months from Texas to Florida qualifying over 55 women for this years WCT Finals.

• February, 2008 Parto Mayaca Polo Club joins the WCT.

• January, 2008 Team War Horse becomes first team to win 2 WCT Qualifiers in a season.

2006-2007 Season

• A total of 19 women's polo teams competed in 7 WCT Qualifier tournaments held in Middleburg Virginia, Aiken South Carolina, Houston Texas, Midland Texas, Wellington Florida and Sarasota Florida.

• March, 2007 over 70 women players have qualified for the WCT Finals 2007

• April, 2007 Catena USA wins the WCT Finals over a field of international women players.

• April, 2007 WCT World Cup in benefit of Play for P.I.N.K  (Breast Cancer Foundation) has its innaugural debut as the highest rated women's polo game in the United States.

2005-2006 Season

• 2005 the Women's Championship Tournament is created by top woman polo player Sunny Hale to promote women's polo.

• July 2005 WCT kicks off first WCT Qualifier held at Goose Creek Polo Club in Middleburg Virgina.

• A total of 18 women's polo teams competed around the United States over the course of the inaugural year for the WCT Title.

• April, 2006 Panera Bread wins the inaugural Women's Championship Tournament Finals at Outback Polo Club in Wellington Florida.
