WCT Extends Reach Internationally

  With President and Founder Sunny Hale hard at work, the WCT has made yet another great step forward in the continued growth and organization of women's polo worldwide announcing this week the second International WCT Qualifier ) the fourth qualifier in the 2008-2009 season).

  The WCT format was expanded in 2008 to include women's tournaments worldwide that meet the criteria to become a Qualifying tournament for the Series Final in April 2009.

  The first International WCT Qualifier was played in England in June at the Beaufort Polo Club with an impressive match up of an 8 goal vs. a 9 goal women's team.

  Now, according to tournament organizers and promoters in Argentina, the upcoming LPW (Ladies Polo World Championships)/ International WCT Qualifier is to be played this week November 3-7 at the Jockey Club and is the first women's tournament in Argentina to have the full sanctioning and support of the AAP (Association Argentina de Polo).
