         Welcome to the Official WCT website, home of 'World Class Women's Polo'. The concept of the WCT when it was created in 2005, was to connect the network of women around the world who were dedicated to improving their polo and provide a top level prestigious event to set their sites on winning, similar to the LPGA and the WNBA etc. in other sports. The WCT has far exceeded the early goals that were set. Its growth can be measured by the quality of the WCT Finals matches in the first four years, as well as by the amount of new women’s tournaments that have sprung up around the United States to join the WCT format. In addition, women around the world who took their inspiration from the format of the WCT Finals have created several new women’s events worldwide.

          Women’s polo is definitely continuing to grow and the exposure it’s continuing to receive around the world is truly amazing. The WCT website now showcases some of the best women players in the world in the “Player Profiles” section and has gained a fan base of its own. Women’s polo and sports enthusiasts now have a place to learn about these women and their achievements in the sport of polo.

        As we move into our Fifth season it is with anticipation and excitement to see the interest from polo clubs, professionals and sponsors to get involved in supporting women’s polo. New for the 2009-2010 Season is the addition of an entry level tournament for up and coming players to be a part of the WCT.
