Society Women Play Polo

August 15, 1910

 

Miss Eleanor Sears and Miss Emily Randolph Take Part in Game.

 

Narragansett Pier, R.I. Aug 15- On the new polo field at the Point Judith Country Club there was a practice polo game this morning between a team of society women and several well-known poloists.


Miss Eleanor Sears, who came over from Newport, and Miss Emily Randolph were on one team and R. Grenfell of England and Devereux Milburn represented the rival team. The Earl of Grosvenor and Lord Rocksavage were among the spectators. The match was played in the rain.
