Welcome to the Official website of the Women’s Championship Tournament (WCT).

The WCT is a world class women's polo event that showcases the highest level women's polo in the United States and is the largest women's polo tournament series in the world. The tournament format includes Qualifier tournaments played across the country and abroad throughout the year, culminating in the annual WCT FINALS.

      The WCT tournament format was created in 2005 by professional player Sunny Hale. Her vision was to increase the level of women’s polo competition played in the United States as well as to showcase the skill level and accomplishments that women in the sport have achieved worldwide.

      Over the course of the first five seasons, the WCT has set the standard as the premier women’s polo event in the United States, where the best players in the world come to compete. With women players representing one of the largest growing sectors of polo today it comes as no surprise the enthusiasm and following the WCT has attracted worldwide. The WCT website, currently viewed in over 100 countries, now showcases some of the best women players in the world in the “Player Profiles” section and has gained a fan base of its own. Women’s polo and sports enthusiasts now have a place to learn about these women and their achievements in the sport of polo.

      New for the 2010-2011 season, to promote the growth of collegiate and arena women’s competition around the world is the addition of the WCT Arena series.
